On February 15, 2016, we experienced our first homeowner claim (ever) due to a frozen celloid (sp?) in our dishwasher. This malfunction caused severe water damage to our main living level as well as to the basement apartment area located directly below the kitchen/dining room area. Being that this was the first time we’ve ever had a homeowner claim, I was nervous and upset and didn’t know what to do. I called the Tracy Driscoll Agency to begin the claim reporting and home repair process. The purpose of this letter is to articulate the excellent service received not only from Tracy Driscoll and Utica National, but also to let you know that Green Construction, ServPro and Connecticut Solid Surface performed an amazing repair and restoration of my damaged home. In addition, the help and support from Randy Harakas, the Insurance Adjuster assigned to our case, was outstanding.
Peter from Green Construction, Sean from ServPro and Steve from Connecticut Solid Surface led each of their respective teams through the process of rebuilding my home. Each of their team members were professional, efficient and hard working throughout this process. I am so pleased with the results and I know that my dwelling would not look as beautiful as it does today without their attention to detail and outstanding customer service. On several occasions, they encountered challenges but they worked through these in a way that mitigated further issues and left me completely satisfied. In my opinion, all of them went above and beyond the call of duty.
I also want to mention that the personnel at Tracy Driscoll (I believe the name of the individual managing our claim is “Lisa”) also provided exceptional service to me and my family at a time that we needed it most. Lisa followed up on a regular basis to check in and make sure that the process was moving along smoothly.
Thanks to Deb Camden, we have been insured with Utica National for approximately one year… I was nervous about reporting this claim because we are such new policy holders. Utica treated us as though we were their top priority in settling this claim. Their service was prompt and efficient and they often called us to check on our status and ensure that we had everything that we needed. We are so happy to have switched to Utica and hope to be their clients for many, many years to come!
And finally, cudos to Randy Harakas and his staff for putting up with all of my inquiries. Randy always responded with useful information that was helpful and left me feeling that they had everything under control. Randy worked well with Green Construction and ServPro and it made me feel comfortable knowing that that he had my back and was able to handle my claim without any worries.
I thought it was important for me to let you know that this was a job well done. I would highly recommend this combination of various teams to anyone who suffers a homeowners loss.
